Anyone ever use this ignition module for HEI dist
I just swapped out my stock ignition module in my 79 for a engine works 16600 HEI module w/pigtails. It looks just like the MSD upgrade module but doesn't have the rev limiter. Anyway the car runs great but now my tach jumps up and down but my idle is steady. Did I hook something up wrong. There were no instructions w/the kit. Could this module be for a different tach setup?
