Default dome light stays on

I have installed new door switches and a new h-light switch and checked the wiring.nothing changes it.Pull the fuse it goes out.20A dome ctsy fuse.Had this problem before I redid the interior and thought I had it corrected.Re-installed complete interior and it is doing it again.Where is the dome /ctsy light timer?on the pass side near the glove box?Is it that orange unit?
I have manually worked the switches at the door jambs and cannot get the lights to go off.The headlight switch is NOT in the dome light ON position,I already checked to see if I had left it in that position.
I'd like to start driving the car,but I hate electrical issues and non functional options.I also have 2 new T-top switches.
