brake fluid loss?
I lost my fluid in the rear master cylinder chamber. I refilled it , bled system & all seems well. For the life of me I can't find a leak anywhere in the system, any ideas where it could have gone.It is a 77 daily driver

check the inside sidewalls of your tires. if there's fluid staining on any of them, they you've got a leak in one or more of your calipers. they're easy to rebuild with new boots/seals if that is your problem.

Get a Motive bleeder, pump it up on each section of the M/C to 10 psi and see if the gauge drops. If it drops on both check the M/C seal if only in one section look from the lines to the calipers for a leak. It's not evaporating so it has to show somewhere.

Good advice. I'm thinking a slow leak somewhere. I did the master cylinder about 3 yrs ago due to failure . I also did the calipers from VBP all around with new hoses & brake lines to rear from hose to junction over the rear diff. about 4- 5 yrs ago.. Where to get a Motive bleeder??
