i am looking at going to a larger wheel tire on a 70 with a vette brakes front suspension set up(car sits lower) and offset and boxed trailing arms(car also sits lower in rear)
what backspace should i run with a 16'' and 17'' rim most likely in a 8'' width for both.
also can i run a staggered width setup front and rear. like a 7'' in front and a 9'' rim in the rear with out rubbing.
i am looking at the cast center torquethrust origional(straight spoke style) or a 200s(daisy) design.
any help or pics you might have would be a great help.
A search of Tire Rack produced this list of American Racing wheels that will fit your 1970. Check the offset and backspace info... it should give you a starting point to make a decision.
