Default Help Its hot inside!

changed the shut off valve in the right fenderwell (wont hold vacum)

and now interior is warm to hot all the time.

after playing with the heater/AC controls i found a problem.

seems like bubba was into that too.

left side selector **** seems to work but doesnt seem to have detents for the selection you made.

right side will go all the way down but wont go all the way up (thats temp control) to full cold.

seems like ill need a new assembly to correct the bubba work.

where can I get a whole heater/AC control assy?

Try midamerica or ecklers. They should have most of the controls you'll need.

I've just rebuilt mine. Its fairly easy, only problem is removing and installing back, a little time consuming.

ok i found the problem
bubba shortend the heat control cable. (probly broke it)
so the door isnt fully closing.
also since I have the heater/ac control out I might change the blower switch.
In HIGH position the blower goes off.
in the OFF position it blows low
the connector was a bit melted aswell.
once I closed the door by hand and turned on the A/C it got VERY cold inside.
So ill be ordering a few parts for sure
