Ok today I shorted out the tan wire off the sending unit (unit looks new btw)
black ground reads good at the tank aswell

still gauge reads the same
ohmed out the sending unit and read 90 ohms.
I also made sure i was using a good ground.
next I found the 12 pin connector (near drivers side kick panel)
and ohmed out the tan wire from the back (still connected)
read 30 ohms.
grounded out tan wire at the connector and still gauge reads same.
So im assuming either.
A: broken connection between connector and gauge
B: gauge is bad
still havent found out the corolation between the seat belt warning and the fuel gauge yet.
Seat belt warning isnt on the wiring diagram?
thks for all the help so far btw!

If you visit the good Doctor Rebuild you will have to pay sales tax. You need to figure what works best.
