headlight problem on start up !
Started my 78 today and the left headlite came up slowly, then the right, ( light switch in off position, lights did not come on). They stayed up for a couple of minutes then went down slowly. I looked for vacume leaks but found none. Help !!.

Replace the check valve and the filter located on the driver side of the engine by the vacuum source. (right in the middle of the intake manifold) A clogged filter, or a bad check valve will cause this problem.
