I'm Confused Here.....
So how does the compression change that much when the chamber size is the same. I almost get the feeling that they're just making these numbers up off the top of their head.
Anyway, I would like to get about 400 HP and 400 Ft/lbs tq from pump gas so would these heads in combination with the Performer RPM manifold get me those numbers. I know I'll have to upgrade my cam as well...
fiquring on the 170 runner being used on a 3.48 stroke 350, the
200 runner head would most likly be used on a 3.75 stroke 383
size engine. You do not want the 200 runner head if your buiding
a hydraulic low rpm 350 size street engine. Consider the 180
runner IK180 brodix head. $1050.00/$1095.00. very good for a 350.

brodix ph# 479-394-1075. Brodix or edelbrock head can do 400 hp
for you, edelbrock rpm is a good all around manifold, good pick for
a 400 hp 350. brodix has been making aluminum heads since the 70s.
