I can't find the switch in the owner's manual,
what all is involved in replacing the switch?
Can I put a W/O switch in a Tele car?
They don't make the tilt/tele switch anywhere, anymore.
Is it a major undertaking?
Thanks
Re: how to do a turn signal switch replacement? (Evan Ginsberg)
You cannot use a standard (non-adjustable) turn signal switch in a T&T column. The 1969 thru 1976 T&T turn signal switch is becoming very hard to find. One good thing is that any General Motors T&T steering column from the 1969 - 1976 time frame should be able to supply a switch that should bolt right in. The wires running down the column from the switch might be a bit too long, but the switch (if it is in good condition) should work. Several papers that are posted at http://www.corvettefaq.com should be of value to you. Go to Suspension and Steering and look up:
