I have a 75 L-82 auto A/C. I am having a valve job done and will be replacing the cam and lifters. I have an Edelbrock Performer carb and intake manifold on the engine now. This is a street car with A/C and I don't want a lope at idle. Was thinking of ordering the Edelbrock 2102 cam that goes with the performer carb & manifold. Does anybody have any experience with this cam or can anybody recommend another cam that will give me good performance without any lope so the car will idle in drive with the A/C on.

Reason: I shouldn't make that comment
This cam appears to be big step down from your L-82 cam which specs at 224/224...114/114/114. The Edelbrock cam duration data is only 204/214 which is basically a step up from the base L-48 cam which specs at: 194/202...108/116/112.
If you like the stock idle due to the wider 114 LSA, use a new stock cam and advance it a few degrees.
Two Crane cams to consider are P/N 113521 and 113941, however they may have a slightly rougher idle due to the 112LSA's.

How about the next one up --- the Edelbrock 2103 with duration at
.050 of 214 214 and valve lift .442 .442 Anything much above that will give a choppy idle I believe
Where can I get the specs for my stock camshaft in my 75 L-82

It's in my first reply and in the Scroggins Dickey link.
The Crane part number is: WG1104
