Hamad, did you wrap the entire box or just the engine side? I wrapped the engine side from the high speed relay DOWN so I couldn't see it as much. I got no reduction in vent temps... Maybe I should have wrapped the whole thing.

I wrapped the whole evaporator half from the high speed relay down to drain tube and the side to the POA valve hanging bracket as the in pictures. Obviously in my case the hot air was coming through the crack in the box which I fixed by a fiber glass patch, and I wrapped it as to protect it against the very near exhaust manifold, which is in my case is only 1/2 inch away. I couldnt dream for a better results. Its really strange that you still have that hot air comig after all what you did, I think you have to trace the problem more deeply. Did you remove the blower fan resistor and checked the temp. inside the box? also you may check the evaporator box seals to the firewall all the way around, get your car on a jack and check it under there, before I removed mine there was a approx. 1/8th inch gap between the box and the firewall, also the old seals were all dried out and fill off right when I touch them!. When the engine compartment gets very hot, then it only needs a small opening to the cabin to make it worm. just my 2 sents.
