With that mild a cam and stock gearing/converter, I would stick with the Quadrajet. The small primaries will give you great throttle response and mileage and the secondaries will flow what you need for power.
Contact Lars for some hints on tuning the Q-Jet for use with this combo.

I agree. That cam is going to be great for some low end grunt and you don't want to kill the off the line power and throttle response with a large carb.
The stock QJet would be the best bet.
Either get the stock QJet tuned up and running right or go to a 670 CFM Avenger or similar version in a Demon.
That engine is just shy of a ZZ4 build - 10:1, same heads, less cam. You don't need anything big at all.
My father in law is running the road demon 725cfm vacuum secondaries on his 355 with CC XE268 cam with good success. I wouldn't put a 725 on a 350 though I would go smaller with the 625 cfm road demon.

Hi
thanks for your replies...
problem is, that theres a unknown Holley carb on it...the pre-owner had the car "tuned" , i dont think, they didnt know, what they do...

would you go with a 625cfm Road demon?
thank you
Yes -- I think a 625 CFM carb would work great for that engine. I personally have had better luck with the Edelbrock carbs than the Holley's but anything in the 625 - 675 range would work well. The stock QJet is 795, but it gets away with it with having a small primary size for your normal street driving.
