I've used it this past summer. Its seems to work but I don't think it gets as cold as the other stuff R-14? Didn't have any problems charging the system. Also, it was inexpensive... :chevy
I'm using Freeze-12 myself. It operates @ near R-12 pressures and carries the mineral oil originally used in the system, so there's next to nothing to do as a drop-in replacement. However, if you have a leaking system, this stuff will fractionate and could raise havoc with your compressor. Anything other than real freon is a gamble but @ $20/can for R-12, I felt it was worth it.
