I mix as below for my 383
Race Gas $8.00 per gallon x 20 gallons = $160.00 per tank
Xylene =117 Octane
Xylene (117 Octane) @ $10.00/gallon
91 octane @ $3.50/gallon
35% Ratio with a 20 Gallon Gas Tank
13 gallons (91 Octane) x $3.50 = $42.00 + $70.00 ( Xylene) = $112.00 per tank
(13 x 91) + (7 x 117) / 20
(1183 + 819) / 20 =
2002 / 20 = 100.1 Octane

From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.
I'd just put a set of street friendly pistons in it, and the rest of the octane and timing issues disappear.
