Default Rear deck question

How much of the rear quarter panel belongs to the rear deck? How far down the rear quarter panel does someone have to measure in order to cut the pieces at their natural edges?

Either a caliper reading or a flex tape measurement along the contour would be helpful.

Thanks,

The seam is about 2 inches down from the top of the fender line.

Thanks,
Have you tried to look up under the rear fender to see the seam line.

The seam cannot be seen by looking from underneath because there is a bonding strip on the back side. The seam is about 2" down from the top edge the whole length from the back of the door jamb to the rear where the rear bumper is attached. Usually if you have still have lacquer paint on the car you will see a few fine cracks in the paint right where the seam is.
