which transmission is best
so im think after i drove my car i want to swap out my th400 transmission so what would be a good swap? like a direct replacement with out modifying the area( cause im a noob and this will be my first swap). Also a good place to order it from.

I know you say you don't want to make any mods but there are kits out there to convert to manual should you want to. Check Keisler for 5-speed conversion kits from automatic.
Much will depend on your hp rating/plans and how you drive (cruise, street/strip, strip, etc).

theres not much on it now.......i havent dyno tested it yet but im guessing maybe 220hp......from what ive heard the 400 transmission robbs a lot of horses. So what im think about doing is maybe doing a transmission swap then dyno it and if im not satifiyed with the engine yank it out and ether overhaul or replace it.
