Default 81 Progress...

Wifey says hurry up and get that shet off my table.. new water pump, timing gear set, fuel pump, alternator (coming), tie rod sleeves and ends, control arm bushings, sway bar end links, ball joints. I repainted the control arms, sway bar, pulleys, timing cover, frame, motor, and re-cored the radiator.

Looking good! It's amazing how wives don't seem to "get" the fung shui aspects of beautiful chassis bits on the dining room table. I mean, we eat in front of the tv anyway (no kids), what else it that table good for?

Just curious.. Does your 81 have the "dented" top portion of the radiator core support? Trying to understand if the dented version is a late 81 carryover to 82. Thanks

Yea, we probably won't eat off that table again until Thanksgiving anyway. As far as the dented top radiator support, now that you mention it is kinda wavy looking, No matter though because something goes on top and covers it up. I just can't remember what it is. I have no idea how some of that stuff goes back, but i have the assembly manual to look at just hope I don't end up with extra parts.
