I have really stiff rear springs to keep the nose down. But as you go up in power you have to learn to not even floor the car till it is moving 30+ mph in second gear and in a straight line or you are going to really smoke the tires or loop it.
Cool stuff! Isn't it embarrising though after you smoke by a couple of cars then they catch up to you at the next light while your sitting there! I can't sink low enough in the seat!

No because I have many years of Hot Rice bike driving. When you get up into the 1000+ CC's. The bikes have such a big power to weight ratio.
little old ladies are easy to pass. Lets see some track vids.
Yes, I need some in car track time video. I wish that I had the camera in for my 90 mph looping it off the track into the gravel traps. I never to repeat that problem again.
Z - I always have my 5 point harnesses on. They have long draw straps that fly around with the windows being open.
Eddie - I need to do some tracks or the local mountain roads like some 9000 foot summit pass
I learned by way of a big speeding ticket years ago that you can haul A. on the long on ramps and then slow somewhat to merge. First of all you don't know if some person is going to change lanes in front of you to exit. The other which really hurt me was blowing down the on ramp and just glancing over my should upstream to see if it was all clear. I had some rolling road blocks in the slower lanes so I shot clear over in the Fast lane and on my merry way. I kind of failed to notice the Highway patrol car on my glance back.
So I go a ticket for a 110+MPH in a 55 zone. I don't mind the tickets, but they also screw with your insurance and driving license
it's great being a guy - huh! I know just like the rest of ya'll, I am sitting here with a big sh$t-eatin' grin
What it is Not until you have 600+ hp in a lightened car would you even understand the fun factor.
I had hot rodded 355 ci that did 12.30's My 383 did 11.70s I gave up on drag racing.
You have these super charged 540 ci like Norval, 632ci, ML67, 632steve, Jim with his 540... locally I have a C-5 with 634RWHP license plate................. The list goes on
When are you going to be doing up some in-car video over at . . . ah, crap . . . I can't think of the name of that track near you. Ah, hell, you know where I mean!

I see - I was just kidding you somewhat. I thought that's what the red light on the center console is - maybe it's something else on your year? In '70, that's the "seat belt" light...

Yes it is the seat belt light. I've been hoping that it burns out. When I removed the stock seats and belts the light came on. I removed the drivers side whole retractor system to save weight
It is your whole system. Hooker super comp 1 3/4 into 3 inch with a 4 inch diameter H pipe right at the differential where the pipes are closest together. Into 3 inch in and out Vortec stainless packed race mufflers with 31/2 X 12 inch chrome tips.
The big three inch pipes give you the deep sound that will set of every car alarm you drive by.
