Frame: Needs a new front cross member
Continuing saga!
I'm torn (bad pun) as to how I should approach the frame on my 75. The cross member is torn, as well as the drivers side spring pocket. The lower passenger control arm has pulled loose at some time in the past.
I'd like to repair what I've got, as the rest is cherry... rust free and straight! Would you guys suggest swapping out the front clip, or tracking down restamped metal and welding it all together? (Know these pieces are available, but have lost track of who stocks them!)
I can't find the thread I posted last fall... :o
ZIP and other vendors also have them.

It would be a tough part to change on the car, you would have to strip the front end down to bare frame and cut the many welds holding it in place then find someone who can weld upside down
Also thinking to get a resistance spot welder so the job looks more like stock.
Thanks for the parts source!
