yet another headlight problem question

I completed my headlight repair and all is right in the world. My problem was an actuator rod seal and the check value. I also cut 1/2 inch of hose from each end that connected to a component. The ends were a bit stretched out and the new clean end provides a much tighter seal. After removing the years of rust and dirt from the actuator, springs, hinges, etc. the repaired headlight moves twice as fast as the other headlight.
