Frame Restoration Service ?
Guys
I live in Southern California. I am stripping my 1974 down to the frame. I am seeking a company that will dip the frame to remove all rust and corrosion inside and out . Anyone know of a company in Southern California that can perform this service?

I Live in S. Cal and I'm looking at this as well. Plan A was to sand blast and powder coat but that only protects the outside of the frame. There is a place down by the National City ship yards that does galvanizing. I used them all the time several years ago when I made commerical diving equipment for the Navy and Offshore Oil platforms (North Sea).
Anyway, I'm working on getting a quote and I'll let you know how that goes when I get more info.....gp

I appreciate the help, yes the sand blasting only helps the outside, need both inside and out cleaned to the bone. I have watched HOTRod TV, but I cannot remember their vendor for frame restoration. Any info you guys can agther is appreciated.

I was able to locate a company here in S.California with the help of a friend, his custom Rod shop uses them for their work.

I received a quote to have my 1974 Frame chemicaly stripped inside and out for a price of $450.00. They will need from 7-14 days to complete the process. They do not pick-up frames, your frame must be dropped off.
