Default leaky gas tank
Hi guys hope every one is doing good, I removed the gas tank from my 80 coupe found two leaks from bottom corners of tank, cleaned rust and now have 1/4 inch holes, can they be patched or do I need to get new tank. thanks and god bless JR.

Hello there,
You don't even want to play around with that, just change it while you got it out.

A new tank is not that expensive. Its not worth messing around with. You don't need a gas leak four feet behind where you sit.
