I am considering changing the exhaust system on my 80. I have looked into a complete dual exhaust package offered by Corvette Central that includes Magnaflow at the rear. It also states that headers are included (I am calling them to get more detail on this) Has anyone used this kit? Any idea what impact this will have on the horsepower?
The best thing for the later year C3s were to make it breath better. The exhaust was very constrictive. Im in the market for sidepipes now but you will love a free flowing exhaust.

I have this system with Magnaflows & I love it! It does not come with headers though, but it does come with header pipe flanges, sleeves & donut gaskets. The fit is perfect and it sounds like what a Corvette should sound like now............
