top radiator hose/pipe?

top radiator hose/pipe?

What kind of pipe is used substute the middle of the hose and then just use the ends to hook to the water neck and rad?
You know the polished look pipe, Would aluminumized exaust pipe work?

I always liked the look of the hot-rods when they had straight aluminum pipe with the rubber ends. If you do do this, let us know how it pans out.

With the old air inductions box under the TPI I had a plumbing problem on the '72, and the upper hose was partly done with chrome/brass DWV plumbing from like HD/Lowes/plumbing supply house....I just sweated some chrome 1.25 together to form a 90 bend available up to a foot or more long, sufficient to do the job....I used hose on each end, but if you want to get inventive...well....go for it...

my brother did that on his mustang. he got a chromed piece of pipe from home depot that is meant for a sink drain

Fernco PlumbQuick rubber connectors (the pipe connectors in various sizes with hose clamps attached, available at any hardware or plumbing store) are the greatest things ever invented for such jobs...
