ZF6 in a C3

Anyone have any idea whether a ZF6 out of a 96 will work in a C3. The bellhousing and flywheel is also available.

It's listed for 1800 for tranny, bellhousing, and flywheel.

I'm working on it! It can be done..takes a lot of fabrication. You'll need a 4+3 (or 4 speed) flywheel. Then trans crossmember needs to be modified, firewall modified for slave cyl, the trans tunnel needs to be opened for the shifter & you'll need to get & mod a clutch/brake pedal assy.

That's what I thought. Buyer's market, shoot low, live it up. Are you gonna put in the LT1 too, or mount it to your existing motor?
