Anyone like/dislike the monza mufflers that mid america is selling?? I would get a link, but their website sux and doesnt have a full product listing.... But I was wondering if anyone has these and if they like em or not. Pics would be  too.
they can be found in a lot of catologs....usually called "performance mufflers" or "manza mufflers" these (mine) are custom for our C3's ...direct replacement, even has the proper attachment welded to the muffler.
I have the these tips on my c/k1500 Z71 (been on for a year and a half now.....
they are awesome and I get lots of remarks on
my exhaust sound and look, I can't wait till I have them on the 'vette.
plus the extra HP is nice...
|edit |.....should had following...on my truck I ran a custom exhaust from the manifolds..true duals out through these tips....whoa...awesome.....(cops said I was too noisey! :nono: ) had to put mufflers on...(put on cherry bomb/turbo style :D eat that awcifer !)
cool man, the ones in mid america's magazine dont have the normal oval shaped muffler look to them. They are supposed to still muffle the sound more than open pipes... I dont know how, if anyone understands this pls inform me.

Re: Monza mufflers (RoyArms)
There are two tipes of the Monza mufflers avaliable.
The ones shown about are actual mufflers with dual tips attached. The ones that I have are just the fiberglass packed tips and no mufflers.
The are a bit loud for most peoples taste, and can be anoying on long trips. For my limited driving and racing I like the sound.
For a daily driver I would get the ones with the mufflers.

Bseery is right..... I had the TIPS only on my truck.....these were TOO LOUD....I was pulled over in a week by "Sir Yes Sir"..."Sir Right Away Sir"
placed the cherry bomb type mufflers WITH the tips still on and they sound GREAT !!!.....
now with my VETTE I have the complete MANZA Mufflers and TIPS .....should be awesome !
I've got a set on mine. They are the type that just has a single pipe which splits into two tips which contain the baffling. The baffles are what are called "Absorbtion baffles" in the Classic bike world over here. Absorbtion baffles give the restriction of an open pipe (!) but take the edge off of the volume without unduly affecting the tone. The Monza's noise volume is fine for cruising, I haven't really noticed any resonation, but they sound awesome at WOT. It all depends on personal taste - I love 'em but I expect other people (like my neighbours) would think that they're too loud! I suppose it all depends on what your "noise Police" are like, but here there are ricers that have far more volume than my Monzas give me (unless I'm at WOT :yesnod: )
Can't get a pic of them until the weekend, but if nobody posts one then email me & I'll get 1 for you.
