Hi there i have a question about my new 2001 Nissan Sentra. I know this is a Corvette Forum but hey i got a corvette does that count?? Well, back to the Nissan question. When ever im on a hill and it is in drive, and i let off the brake the car rolls back..is that factory or is there something wrong. Please right back as soon as possible. Thanks :chevy
Thank You for all your answers. My wife thought we had to go bring it to the shop and get it fixed and i told her no all auto's do that..but no she doesn't listen to me..lol thank you very much
Actually, that is an interesting question. My 2001 Chev Impala does the same thing. I have never experienced this with former cars I have owned with automatic transmissions. They always "creeped" in Drive. But, the Impala will sometimes that and at other times will not. When it slips backwards, I put my left foot out to release the clutch a bit???. Just kidding. I do not have an explanation but that that's the way it is. BTW, the Impala is a great car. Did Virginia Beach (through Carlisle for the show) in August to Canada and got 37mpg. That with A/C and 80mph.
