First thing to do is determine which cylinder is the culprit. You can buy a tool that allows you to pull spark plug boots without getting shocked at the auto parts store, get one and with the car running remove one boot and listen to see if there is a change in the idle quality (worse). If it's worse replace that boot and move on to the next. Keep doing this process until you find the one that has no affect on the misfire, that's your problem cylinder.
