I just got my engine/trany in and running.. and now the oil fill tube leaks right at the bottom. I've tried forcing it in more and turning it and beating it down, but it just wont go all the way because of the angle, and it wont stop leaking.. anyone else have to do this or have a good suggestion that'll get me on the road quick?
Is the little rubber gromet in there? You may have to either bend the tube so that it does seat all the way, or get one of the flexible ones that Lokar makes

I just replaced mine and had to bend the tube slightly to get it to sit flush in the hole. Also when you install the tube put a light coat of oil on the o-ring and then run a small bead of RTV around the tube just under the lip where it seats into the hole. Once it's in there all the way be sure to bolt the tube in place so that it doesn't move when you pull the dipstick out or when you put it back in and you should be good to go.
