I forgot the 2 recommended references you gave me.. what were they ? Anyone else have a "must have" Corvette reference that I (or anyone else) should have ?

What kind of reading are you looking for? Repair? Purchasing a vette? Heritage???

BTW>>> Howdy Neighbor! I grew up in Cherry Hill! Where in Cherry Hill are you from? I now live in Voorhees!

Howdy Neighbor !!
1983-1998 in Erlton (with a 3.5 year excursion up to Maine) then to Point of Woods part of Cherry Hill. I mostly am in need of Heritage, and option choices. vettefixr told me the name of a good "must have" but I forgot to forward the info to my home account. By the way, I just saw a nice (but pricey) '74 with 454 at Classic Chevrolet.

I have a couple of books that are pretty decent, and should cover some of the info youre looking for. I wouldn't call the "must haves" but they arent bad. they First is "Corvette : Americas Sports car by Randy Leffingwell.which talks about the evolution of the corvette up to about 1997 (it just gets into the C5).

The Second is "Corvette Catalogs" which is a pretty neat book. It shows all the catalogs from every year from 53-1991 ZR-1. It's written by Terry Jackson. It's pretty cool.

The third that I have is Corvette: From Blue Flame 6 to ZR1 wich is another histoy type book which is kinda neat but has some fluf to it. It's written by Bonsall & Zavits. It covers the 53's & the motorama show cars which is kinda neat, to the 89's.

If you want to borrowe them I'll be happy to lend them to you.

I take it youre shopping for a C3???

BTW... I grew up right down Kings Highway from Erlton in Cherry Valley. I know the place well! In fact I'm helping my buddy move into a new house in Erlton in the next couple of weeks!

Got any recommended repair/restore books ? My recently acquired First Vette could use some TLC. I got a look at vetfixr's spectacular '74, so maybe in 15 years, mine will look as good :)
