Question about rearend.
I was curious.. i have been working on my diff for the past week and also been looking for a new/rebuild.. i was wondering if i used the diff out of a 76 vette for my 77, are there any big changes between those years that would make me unable to use it?

The differential for a '76 should be a direct bolt in for a '77 as well. You may want to confirm that the axle ratio is the same between what you are replacing and the replacement.

It is the same but look it over good before installing a used one. The clutches in these are not the best and sometimes they break under load. Look the posi case over for cracks as well.
