Roller block & oil dip stick ?

Roller block & oil dip stick ?
What dip stick are you using with the roller block? I just shoved in a universal SBC & my crank abused it. What do I need?

I'm using a Lacare dip stick for the roller blocks. I had to clearance my aftermarket pan so it would work.
Is your pan deflecting the stick into the crank's path? The dip stick should go right between two of the counterweights.

Do you need a lower dipstick tube like old standard blocks use?
It's a small length tube that gets installed in the blocks lower dipstick casting that keeps the dipstick straight & away from the crank.

I might, but I haven't seen these for sale at Jegs or Summit. I'll be pulling the pan back off to check the stud torques, so it will be a great opportunity to correctly place a dip stick.
