Do you need a lower dipstick tube like old standard blocks use?
It's a small length tube that gets installed in the blocks lower dipstick casting that keeps the dipstick straight & away from the crank.

I might, but I haven't seen these for sale at Jegs or Summit. I'll be pulling the pan back off to check the stud torques, so it will be a great opportunity to correctly place a dip stick.

Pretty easy to just pound in from the bottom with the pan off. There should be a "stop" cast into the block so the tube only goes in so far. Got mine from either DocRebuild or Paragon when building the 406.
