Do all elec.feul pumps regulate themselves or should I have some sort of regulator on it. the one i had seemed to slow down after running a bit. the new one runs on the whole time the car is running and feels hot after is has been running for awhile. The new one is a holley red pump. Thanks for the help.

The maximum pressure on the Holley "RED" elec pump is 7PSI so I would not think you need one.

Depends.....a Qjet takes like 4? lbs...really LO pressures, a Holley/AFB can take higher pressures.....but as I recall....8 lbs is pushing the limits....
so at 7, IF there is a Qjet on there, it's same as I had once, needing a line regulator up top near the carb....dialed for 4 lbs, and that 455 Poncho ran like a scalded dawg....

Good addition.... I did not realize they use so little.
