Default Frame Question

Hi all,
does anyone know if a 68 - 69 vert body will fit on a 75 frame

You have to graft the rear frame rails and crossmember to accept the 68-69 bumpers. If you have an automatic trans make sure it has the removable croosmember for the trans. It won't matter either way if you have a manual trans.

You also have to switch body mounts from solid mounts to either rubber or polyurethane.

Not sure, but I think the convertible chassis had more stiffening members to compensate for the roof loss. Better check that if you plan to use a coupe chassis in place of the convertible chassis.

I think they are the same frame. I had 71 vert and a 72 coupe down to the frame and they were the same, no extra bracing. there is extra bracing behind the dash in a vert .

Frames are the same between coupe and conv't. Convertible has extra mount to stiffen body
