Default off set t arms

Whats are pros and cons of going to the off set arms. Are they worth going too?

You can install wider tires on the rear but you may have to shorten your spring. Van Steel can anwser this question.

Wider tires up to 10 1/2 inches. Better units than stock IMO. The only time you need to shorten the spring is if you go with the double offset t-arms. Van Steels standard offset t-arms don't require spring shortening.

lookup member "Gordonm" post about using stock trailing arms and 18x10 wheels with 5.5" backspacing with 275/40/18 and it all tucks perfectly under the fender. It is not widely know but if you are running 18" wheels you do not need offset trailing arms for 99% of the time as the stock trailing arms have clearance as the wheel diameter grows. Offset trailing arms are needed if you want to use wider 15/16" rims.

Only con I can think of is that they are not NCRS correct. Pros are that they allow you to put a wider tire on the car or wider tire and rim combo. They are a hell of a lot stronger than stock and I haven't seen 1 bent yet. They are 1/4" thick, c-channel.
