I'm envious. Very. :cry We could see them here last month apparantly, but there's so much light pollution that the sky is orange anyway :(
On the 18th of this month there is the Leonids meteor shower (might be a day either side as well). It should be spectacular as there is a strong possibility of a meteor storm this year, as we pass right through 3 separate trails of dust over 2 days. Every celestial event I've tried to watch over the last 3 years has been obscured by cloud (full solar eclipse, full lunar eclipse, Perseid meteor shower, etc), so please let me know how the Leonids go :lol:

I went out and looked up in the sky last night and saw a bunch of colors too!
It was probably all of the paint stripper fumes I've been breathing.
It finally wore off, sucks though.. I couldn't quite understand that floating head when it was telling me how to shoot lightning bolts out of my fingertips.
