Question
Have an 82 CE with straight duels (no cats) and Flow masters #40, with K&N Filters.
Would I realize any great improvements if I changed the CAM and if so what CAM?
Want just a little more umph!

Bob,
Yes you should notice a difference with a better cam. I assume that your car is computer controlled like mine (except you've got injection & I've got a carb)? Crane do a series of cams (2010, 2020, 2030....) that are designed for use with computer controlled vehicles. They give different durations/lift for the inlet/exhaust valves. The inlet valve is controlled in such a way as to keep a high manifold vacuum (no lope) so that the computer is happy with it. Worth a look :)
