Default Converter Leaking????

Ok, I have just put 200 miles on rebuilt eng and tranny.
Finally got tired of seeing oil spots everywhere and decided it was coming from the tranny area so I dropped the pan tonight.
The problem is...the fluid on the floor is red and I used B&M tranny fluid which is blue...
Only option must be the converter.
PS fluid is clear, Brake fluid is clear, engine is brown and tranny is blue.
I guess I filled the converter with conv tranny fluid, it was months ago and I dont remember how much or what kind.
My ? is,
Is this bad or just overflow and how do I check.

No, the fluid in the converter and the fluid in the tranny = the same. Any red atf you put in the con was mixed very thoroughly and instantly with the blue stuff during your first startup.

Man, I have no idea what to suggest. If there is nothing red in the car, there can't be anything red dripping out of it. Maybe the drips are off something else that sits in your spot sometimes?

could it be one of the clear liquids sitting on the frame for a couple minutes getting discolored and then falling?? I'm stumped.

Nothing else sits there. I know the two should be mixing but thats the only thing I could think of. And it wouldnt be really red like it is...grrr

Frame is black and the leak is right in the converter/starter/tranny area. Thank you for the suggestions so far but Im still at a loss here.
Anyone else?

Ok I just went out there this am to install my new cooling tranny pan.
I took the old pan off last night and spilled some blue B&M fluid on the floor but the red fluid is so obviously red I can still see the difference between the two fluids.
Anyway, I inspected the converter and it appears to be fine....
So still no idea what the red fluid on the garage floor could be. I will fill the tranny back up and change oil and take her out for a ride and see what the next couple of days brings.

If you can track it to the converter area of the trans, you could be dealing with a leaking front trans seal. Still can't explain the color difference though.
