Check these guys out. The one in the car might be an oddball footprint or something, but they might have one that will work. It will need to be 12v operated and some quantity of NO and NC contacts. If you have a hard time with it send me a pic of the schematic and I'll help
Dont think so.But I think you can make one out of a standard horn relay.I have been meaning to try.It a "hold in" relay in other words once its in it wont release until the 12 volts is taken away-the trick is on the ground side if I remember right.
Six-remember I made one on my embarrassing headlight relay.:o
Six-There was something tricky about the ground.I think it had something to do with the case of the relay.See the term. thats not numbered on the horn relay. The alarm works off the ground side as you can see and cycles through a flasher."I" figured it out once so its got to be easy.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good schem. Looks about whats in my76.Thanx six and dwnchs. Might try a standard horn relay.dale
Yes a standard 3 conn. horn relay like out of a 78 will work but the connections at the relay are different than a horn.If Six doesnt detail it for you I will later but I will have to go out and experiment.I can tell you one thing the 12 volts in "has" to be on the tiny coil wire inside relay.
That looks easy enough. I will try it. Can't believe no one makes them. Thanx
Let me know if thats a direct plug in.The red wire or hot when attached to the horn wiring is the ground from the horn button.Maybe its all in the wiring.
it is listed in the standards parts book i found 1 for my 72 in there it is a relay that has many uses i am sure they all use the same relay go to an independent parts house and it should be available
