VB&P Lower A Arms

Hi.
I am finally installing a VB&P mono-spring kit I bought in December. A arms went on OK but my new Bilstein shocks won't fit. The bolt spacing is off by at least half a hole. It's not the shocks, they fit the stock a arms.

Anyone else have this problem? What did you do? I am thinking - elongate the holes in the shocks.

you sure you have them on the correct sides?

How would that affect the bolt spacing at the bottom? The shock fits as far as the interface with the top rod and the bottom seat. I just can't get both bolts in the bottom.

On their front monospring kit, the shock t-bar should have been modified. You'll have to send them back or do it yourself. Call VBP and talk to Gary.

I put a VBP setup on a members car a couple months ago, all 4 control arms and Bilsteins, and didn't have to mod anything.

B/C they are supposed to do it before it leaves their place and is probably what happened.

I had to mod mine a little also. I bought my kit from a forum member and used my previously bought Bilstiens. Slight mod with a grinder is all it takes.
