I'm just starting to look at NOS for my C3 project and wanted to get some early thinking on bottle location. The obvious choice seems to be in the luggage space behind the seats...any non-obvious/creative locations?
Also, I'm looking at putting in a wet plate system, but I'd like to hide the solenoids, etc. - any pictures/thoughts on how to make the system "stealth" is also appreciated Car Craft had an article a while ago with these hidden inside the air cleaner, but I'm not sure about that approach.
Make sure that your bottle faces the correct way,see my pictures and the above pictures. Some people have put it where the spare goes but then the bottle is oriented in the wrong position.
I guess I was hoping for somewhere interesting but I can't think of anything. I may go with side exhaust...so I'm wondering if I might be able to sneak something up into the rear end somewhere...
I'll have to get creative once I have the bottle in hand
Any thoughts on hiding the solenoids? How far can they be from the carb?
If NO2 wasn't combustible we wouldn't be squirting it into our engines
Nitrous is not combustible...
When it is released into the combustion chamber, it becomes gaseous and releases extra Oxygen that allows you to burn more fuel during the combustion process.

Nitrous will burn on its own, not explosively, but it will burn.
You are correct about how nitrous reacts to a combustion chamber.
