'79 heater fan switch replacement?
Hey guys. Maybe someones got a nice solution. I've got a '79 non-AC car , and the heater fan switch doesn't come with an off option. Its either low , med or high. 
Is this just a '79 quirk? Does another year vette have a switch that would fit that I could actually turn off in the summer?

It's not a heater fan, it's a vent fan. It's only supposed to pick up heat when heatwer is selected, is your vacume system moving the respective doors around? It will pick up some heat, though, esp since the car heats up. All Corvettes, and acually all '70s GM cars I've ever seen, run the fan on low in the off position. There is an off position on the 68 through 76s but in "off" the fan runs on low too, all the time. Probably a carbo-monoxide clearing related. You can rig a switch to turn it off, need to study the schems for your '77.
