Corvette Central exhaust
I have a new set of 2 1/2 inch polished stainless mufflers and need to fit some pipes on around them. I was thinking about getting the cc intermediate pipes so my question is will the 68-74 auto trans intermediate pipes work with my 78 with no emissions equipment and headers.

Look at your cross memeber. It was designed to run the cat. converter. To use the 74 pipes you will have to have the X member with 2 holes in it. Make sure of this because the 78 exhaust is quite different than the earlier sharks.
