Question about TACH FILTER on 1980
WHAT is it actually doing & WHY is it needed ? I have a new hi-performance MSD module that has a dedicated low voltage lead, in addition to the high voltage connection on the HEI distributor (that would in stock config, go to tach filter).

I am wondering if I can by-pass filter if using the low voltage signal, or if for some reason, that won't work at all, and I have to use high voltage signal from distributor connector/tach filter ....
