Is it possible the the draw thru turbocharger is producing too much back pressure which is repeatedly blowing my header gaskets, including aluminum "seal for good",and two sets of regular Mr Gaskets.I keep the bolts tight weekly.
Two things....ONE, really old Pontiac engines they quit making in '78, used a very similar exhaust pattern...two on end, two in middle , adjacent....and they NEVER to my extensive knowledge used any gasket from the factory....iron to iron....never heard any leaks either....
TWO, allthough my SBC knowledge is more limited...I wonder if gaskets are necessary with iron factory style manifolds....I suspect NOT....
so....I wonder if the turbos are better off being fed from a cheep iron 2.25" rams horn mani into the turbos and beg the entire question, as headers feeding into a restriction like a turbo or any muffler/long pipe are rendered useless.....
no gains from indivudual tubes/collectors is what I"m saying....
so, it seems that other than COPPER gaskets, you maybe have to redesign the turbo input plumbing....
