Default Predator carb

The 496 I have came with a Predator carb on it. Ive done some reading on it and its a pretty interesting carb. The way it works is described as a mix between fuel injection and a regular carb. The main question I have is about streetability. Everything I read says its a good carb for the street but alot of that is from places selling them. Is anyone here using one on the street and if so are there any drawbacks to them?
Thanks for any info.

ANY CARB without a power valve is cheap imo.
it would waste 20-25% mpg when cruising.
so for a sunday gas sucker, run it. low miles per year, mpg don't really matter much
