Poly bushings will be shiny and don't usually compress as much as rubber, but I guess it wouldn't be bushings if it still squeaks when you slow down. I was kind of thinking of suspension bounce on highways.
Another possibility is the wheel bearing. Have they ever been repacked or replaced?
Nothing has been done with the front suspension since I got the car in April.
The front suspension was rebuilt a few years ago by the previous owner. Well...they paid a shop to do it. No telling how good of a job they did. I would expect the wheel bearings were at least repacked at that time, but I guess I've got no guarantees...
