Can anyone tell me why my wheels click every time I apply the slightest amount of torque in forward or reverse. All the brake calipers are new stainless units. Thanks
You may need to post a little more info about your car and your problem.
One of the things that could cause a clicking sound is your parking brake. Depending on how old your car is, if the hardware is original or just falling apart, the parking brake components can come loose inside of the hub. They can make all kinds of noise when this happens.
Could be u-joints, beauty rings or pads. You just have to cancel 1 out at a time. Pull the rings, if it goes away, you know the rest. Have someone rock the car in park and get under the car to listen for the u-joints or for pads rocking.
