Do you have a X-pipe in the exhaust? I'm thinking about a chambered exhaust for the 72 LS1 and I'm wondering about the difference in exhaust sound with a X-pipe.

Sounds great. Do you get much resonance in the interior? I have always liked the sound of chambered exhausts but a lot of people complain about resonance around 1,500 RPM or so. X-pipes are supposed to help a lot in cutting down the resonance, but maybe the different firing order of the LS1 helps also.

I have had it on the highway. It does not drone at all. The firing order makes the car idle very different from a SB1 or LT1 engine family.
For the cam size compared to a SB1 or LT1 idle and drivability are extemely different.
