Rocker panels colour
A nice simple question: What is the finish supposed to be for the rocker panels on an '81 (I think that's what they're called - the covers that fit over the chassis between the front & rear wheels)? Should they be Gloss black, satin black or matt black?

I just re-painted mine on the 82 CE. They are supposed to be a satin black color. I went to a local automotive paint supply store and bought a can of SBC aerosol trim paint(black of course), and it looks great. This is the same paint I used on the windshield exterior trim. I get a lot of compliments. Hope this helps :seeya
